HeadlinesAmber Munger '09 and the Road Less TraveledAmber Munger graduated in June and, having rejected a traditional legal career, is doing grass-roots human rights work with people in Haiti, one of the poorest nations in the world. Amber served as a volunteer with the Eugene Human Rights Commission while she was a UO Law School student. The ENR Program applauds the important contributions Amber is making. McCarthy will be joined by Professor Mary Wood and the Morse Chairholder, philosopher Dale Jamieson, on a panel for a Morse Center program. It will be on October 22 at 4:30 p.m. in Room 110. The topic is "Climate Policy: What if Politics Fail Us?" In short, what if domestic and international negotiations do not reach an effective solution for the climate crisis - are there other solutions? Contact ENR for more details. March 10, 2009: New Casebook on Climate Change Law Goes to PrintThe ENR Program is pleased to announce that Professor Hildreth's new casebook, Climate Change Law: Mitigation and Adaptation, has gone to print. Co-authored with David Hodas (Widener), Nicholas Robinson (Pace), and James Gustave Speth (Yale), the casebook examines climate change law using primary source materials, commentary and problem exercises.
